Milton Chang, Director of PPC and Managing Director of Incubic
Dr. Chang was the CEO and President of Newport Corporation and New Focus, Inc. He earned a BSEE from the University of Illinois, a PhD in EE from Caltech, and is a Fellow of IEEE, LIA, and OSA, and past president of LIA, LEOS and IEEE. Honors include Distinguished Alumni of Caltech and the University of Illinois, a Caltech Trustee, a member of the Committee of 100, and an Overseer of The Huntington. He is semi-retired, spending time mentoring entrepreneurs and providing advisory services to established companies. He shares his experience freely and writes monthly business/management columns for Laser Focus World and Photonics Spectra.
Chris Myatt, Founder and CEO
Dr. Myatt founded Precision Photonics Corporation in 2000 to bring high precision and high sensitivity optical technology from the laboratory to market. He earned a BS in Physics and a BA in Mathematics at Southern Methodist University, and a PhD in Atomic Physics at the University of Colorado. Chris did his post-doctoral fellowship at NIST and is both a founder of and CEO of Precision Photonics Corp.
Nicholas G. Traggis, Vice President of Photonics
Mr. Traggis has held various engineering and operations positions for the design, development, and commercial production of photonic and optical component products. Accomplishments include developing and bringing to production several adhesive-free optical contacting technologies for micro-optics fabrication, and leading the transition of several photonics products from prototype research stages into commercial production. Nick holds a degree in materials engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is also the lead inventor on two recent patent applications for epoxy free bonding technologies.
Michael J. Lochhead, Diagnostics Team Leader, mBio
Dr. Lochhead has held both corporate technical management and academic positions over the last decade, with a specific focus on the development and commercialization of bioassay instrumentation and surface chemistry. He earned BA and BS degrees from the University of Notre Dame and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He did his post-doctoral research in Bioengineering at the University of Washington, has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, and is a named inventor on several issued and pending patents. Mike currently manages the mBio Diagnostics division of Precision Photonics.
Cynthia Moore, Controller
Ms. Moore brings over ten years experience in controller positions in both privately held and publicly traded companies. Her experience includes biotech, manufacturing, wholesale and direct sales, and software development. Accomplishments include multiple accounting system implementations, building efficient accounting teams and system controls, and raising equity and debt financing.
