About Precision Photonics
Precision Photonics Corporation (PPC) was founded in 2000, in Boulder, Colorado by scientists-turned-engineers from neighboring NIST and JILA research institutions. We have built a world-class team of scientists, engineers and technicians to develop, manufacture, and sell precision optical components, coatings and assemblies. By taking advantage of our diverse backgrounds in spectroscopy, precision metrology, and high-volume manufacturing, we are able to provide price-competitive laser optics and coatings to the telecommunications, defense, aerospace, biomedical, and semiconductor industries.
At PPC, measurement is fundamental to everything we do. Whether testing reflectivity to greater than 99.995%, verifying parallelism to less than 0.1 arc seconds or actually certifying the maximum energy thresholds of our coatings, we believe that the numbers don't lie. We understand how each element affects your overall system performance because of our experience in the integration of optics, electronics, and opto-mechanics, so our goal is to "get it right", from the initial contact, through the quoting and manufacturing processes.
