Milton Chang, Director of PPC and Managing Director of Incubic
Dr. Chang was the CEO and President of Newport Corporation and New Focus, Inc. He earned a BSEE from the University of Illinois, a PhD in EE from Caltech, and is a Fellow of IEEE, LIA, and OSA, and past president of LIA, LEOS and IEEE. Honors include Distinguished Alumni of Caltech and the University of Illinois, a Caltech Trustee, a member of the Committee of 100, and an Overseer of The Huntington. He is semi-retired, spending time mentoring entrepreneurs and providing advisory services to established companies. He shares his experience freely and writes monthly business/management columns for Laser Focus World and Photonics Spectra.
Chris Myatt, Founder and CEO of PPC
Dr. Myatt founded Precision Photonics Corporation in 2000 to bring high precision and high sensitivity optical technology from the laboratory to market. Recently, he has guided the incubation of an emerging medical diagnostics technology within PPC, which has now spun off into MBio Diagnostics, Inc. Dr. Myatt earned a BS in Physics and a BA in Mathematics at Southern Methodist University, and a PhD in Atomic Physics at the University of Colorado. Chris did his post-doctoral fellowship at NIST and is CEO of Precision Photonics Corp.
Sally Hatcher, Founder of Precision Photonics
Sally founded PPC in 2000 with Chris Myatt to utilize innovative optical measurement technologies for the manufacturing of telecom products. In 2009, they spun off MBio Diagnostics, Inc, a medical diagnostics company based on waveguide technologies that was formerly a division of PPC. Sally holds a BA from Southern Methodist University and a J.D. from the University of Colorado. She worked previously for McKinsey & Company and the Colorado Attorney General, and is currently President of PPC and MBio.
