Fully CADB® bonded Schwarzchild Objective fabricated in partnership with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
Together we were able to design and manufacture an all-glass reflective objective for in-vacuum and cryogenic use, without the use of adhesives or epoxy, and to tolerances on the order of 2 microns! From the initial specifications through the final metrology, we worked together to meet both the budgetary requirements and performance expectations for this complicated, IBS coated assembly.
